Medical Physician & Other Specialties

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical and on-call medical services for the hospital.
• Adhere to all laws, ethical standards, and customs of the medical profession.
• Maintain the highest standard of medical care at all times.
• Diagnose a wide range of patients' conditions.
• Accurately document all patient treatments and progress in the patient's medical records.
• Communicate effectively with medical officers, consultants, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care and treatment plans.
• Coordinate patient care with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Ensure timely and thorough follow-up on patient treatment, including monitoring progress and adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Provide compassionate care by offering emotional support and clear explanations to patients and their families.
• Participate in continuous medical education and professional development to stay current with advances in medical knowledge and treatment protocols.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for patients, addressing both physical and psychological needs.
• Manage patient referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers as necessary.
• Lead and participate in medical audits and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• MBBS, Master’s Degree, PhD, or its equivalent from a recognized institution approved by the Ministry of Health Malaysia.
• Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
• Possession of a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) and National Specialist Register (NSR) certification.
• Must be a team player with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with medical advancements.
