Assistant Security Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assist in hiring new members for the staff and delegate tasks and duties to them.
- Write or review security-related documents, such as incident reports, proposals, and tactical or strategic initiatives.
- Train subordinate security professionals or other organization members in security rules and procedures.
- Plan security for special and high-risk events.
- Develop budgets for security operations.
- Coordinate security operations or activities with public law enforcement, fire and other agencies.
- Arrange for or perform executive protection activities.
-Assist in emergency management and contingency planning.
- Identify, investigate, or resolve security breaches.
- Respond to medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms, or intrusion alarms, following emergency response procedures.
- Recommend security procedures for security call centers, operations centers, domains, asset classification system, system acquisition, system development, system maintenance, access control, program models, or reporting tools.
- Prepare reports or make presentations on internal investigations, losses, or violations of regulations, policies and procedure.
- Communicate security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using established protocols.
- Attend all statutory & universal training required.
- Comply with number of hours training both universal & department training.
- Conduct department training in the section.
- Any other duties as required by the Management.
Additional Requirement:
- Oral proficiency in English language
- 3-5 years experience in similar capacity, in hotel industry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
