Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Video Editor, your role will include:

  • Video Editing:
  • Edit video content for social media, live streams, corporate events, and promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure videos align with the company’s branding and storytelling goals.
  • Post-Production:
  • Enhance videos with effects, transitions, sound design, and color correction.
  • Work with audio to ensure clarity and balance.
  • Manage video cuts, pacing, and overall narrative flow to create compelling content.
  • Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with content creators, KOLs, and clients to understand project requirements.
  • Implement feedback to refine and improve video outputs.
  • Asset Management:
  • Organize and maintain a library of video footage, templates, and other digital assets.
  • Optimize file formats for various platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Creative Contributions:
  • Contribute ideas for video concepts, scripts, and content improvements.
  • Stay updated on the latest video trends and techniques to keep Rush Media at the forefront of the industry.

Requirements

  • Proven experience or portfolio showcasing video editing skills (internship or freelance experience is acceptable).
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics software like Adobe After Effects is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of video production processes, including lighting and camera work.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for storytelling through video.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and their specific video content requirements.
  • Bonus: Experience with live-streaming platforms or multi-camera editing.
