Operational Technology (OT) Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

• Able to investigate MES data related issues and provide reports.
• Plan, develop, implement and perform integration tests for new production lines.
• Perform testing and improvements for updated MES software and equipment before releasing for production use.
• Perform monitoring and basic maintenance of MES servers.
• MES vendors engagement for issue escalation and enhancement to ensure smooth installation and operation.
• Engage with Process and Maintenance team to resolve any MES related issues.
• Document MES process flows and information for analysis and reference.
• Monitor MES Data for compliance to customer company requirements.
• Ensure good safety practices, housekeeping and 5S at production area.
• Prepare training materials and train all users on MES software.
• Perform any other duties as and when assigned by superior.
• This includes maintaining and controlling computer networks and any computer environments that are related to configurations, hardware programs software, and structures software.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma/Degree in IT related fields or at least 2-3 years working experience in the MES manufacturing facilities.
• Possess good knowledge on network, computer software and hardware trouble shooting.
• Knowledge in SQL is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Willing to learn and remain efficient while solving problems.
• Team player and communicate well with team members.
• Able to provide on-call support as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM2,700.00 per month
