Floral Arrangement cum Gardener

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create fresh and artificial floral arrangements for retail spaces or special orders.
• Select flowers, greenery, and materials to match client specifications or design themes.
• Properly store and care for fresh flowers to maintain their quality and longevity.
• Plant, water, weed, prune, and fertilize flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants.
• Design and maintain garden layouts for assigned areas, ensuring aesthetic appeal and plant health.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify plant diseases or pest infestations and implement treatment.
• Maintain garden tools and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
• Handle general landscaping tasks, such as mulching, lawn mowing, and soil preparation.

General Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company standards for safety, hygiene, and plant care.
• Collaborate with the team to execute seasonal designs or large projects.
• Provide advice on plant care to colleagues or clients when required.
• Keep workspaces clean, organized, and free of waste.

Requirements & Experience

• Proven experience in floral design, horticulture, or gardening.
• Knowledge of flower types, plant species, and seasonal blooms.
• A passion for nature and creativity.
• Flexible to work on weekends or holidays for special events.

Skills

• Artistic creativity with a good eye for color, shape, and proportion.
• Practical knowledge of plant care, gardening techniques, and pest management.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure, especially for time-sensitive projects.
