  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

IT Engineer- Kulai

Job Description:

  • Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving level-one issues in computer hardware and software applications in laptops and PCs
  • Installing and upgrading hardware and software and providing complete assistance while configuring hardware, software, and peripherals of the end user systems
  • Providing general desktop support, project coordination, imaging/ re-imaging PCs, and laptops
  • · Providing one-on-one assistance to the end user regarding technical flaws, either by phone, mail, or in person
  • · Assist in patch management for servers and network devices to ensure system security and compliance.
  • Monitor server performance, responding to alerts and issues promptly.
  • Help maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Resolving network related issues like local area connection problems, network access, mail, internet, dial-ins, etc.
  • Coordinating with the third-party service provider for timely repair of the system under the maintenance agreement warranty, and repairing minor flaws in hardware if not covered under the same
  • Oversee and manage the IT infrastructure, which includes servers, networks, PBX systems, printers, and more.
  • Assist with IoT and Industry 4.0 initiatives for automating production workflows.
  • Assist in installation of other peripherals like printers, scanners, etc., cabling systems like local area network cables, network interface cards, wired switches, etc.
  • Participate in deployment of the system including case study, coding, code design, testing, and implementation.
  • Maintain and support the existing system.

Job Requirement:

  • Minimum Diploma in Information Technology / Computer Science or relevant field or equivalent
  • ITIL, CCNA / ACSA is an advantage .
  • VMWare & Veeam tool, Office365, Win XP/7/10/11, Win server /2008/2012/2016/2022
  • Cisco and Aruba switches / APs
  • FortiGate firewall
  • SQL database admin
  • Strong analytical skills and good problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work as a team player to achieve the assigned task within the deadline.
  • Matured personality and able to work independently as well as in a team with a can-do working attitude.
  • Experience in IOT, e-Security industries, cloud base
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
  • Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
  • Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills & good interpersonal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
