Category Manager, Indirect Materials

1. BA/BS degree is required. Master degree is preferred

2. CPM and/or CPIM certification is preferred; Program management skill is a plus.

3. Excellent negotiations skills and analytical skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships

4. A comprehensive understanding of procurement fundamentals with a minimum of (3) years of experience in sourcing or purchasing, and a minimum of three (3) years of related experience either in quality, engineering or supply chain.

5. Excellent communication skill and ability to work with internal colleagues as well as suppliers at all levels within the organization in order to perform the duties described above.

6. Must be PC-literate; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software is required.

7. Excellent interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate and negotiate with vendors & contractors in a professional manner.

8. Fluent English is a must.

9. Expect to travel 10-20% of the time, globally.
