Full job description
File Management:
- Open and close files while maintaining accurate and organized filing systems (both physical files and team drives).
- Ensure proper filing of legal documents and correspondences
Correspondence and Document Preparation:
- Draft and send letters and emails; and
- Assist in drafting, preparing and compiling cause papers
- Prepare Legal/ contract letters for contractors/company and know what to be done next
Telephone Communication and Dispatch Coordination:
Make calls to follow up with government departments for extraction of documents, responses to postponement, applications, etc.
- Make necessary arrangements and manage dispatch services to ensure timely filing and service of documents.
Searches and E-filing:
- Filing & extracting court documents using the e-filing system.
- Conduct searches such as SSM, JIM, CTOS, and Land Searches.
- Handle e-filing tasks efficiently and independently.
Preferred Qualification and Requirements:
- At least 2-3 year of working experience in a legal firm.
- Minimum SPM qualification.
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Punctual, hardworking, responsible, and able to maintain a positive attitude.
- Willing to learn and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Can join work immediate
- Have transport to travel when needed
- Patient and can handle multiple bosses
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
