Job Summary: The HR Generalist will be a key part of the Human Resources team, responsible for managing daily HR functions, supporting a positive employee experience, and helping shape a productive, inclusive workplace. This role includes a broad range of HR tasks such as payroll, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, compliance, and maintaining HR policies. The HR Generalist will work closely with managers and staff across the organization, ensuring HR initiatives align with the company’s goals and culture.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and create job postings.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings, coordinate interviews, and facilitate the selection process.
  • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organization.

Payroll Management:

  • Process and verify payroll calculations, deductions, bonuses, and adjustments accurately on a regular pay cycle.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Handle payroll inquiries from employees and resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare reports as needed.

Performance Management

  • Support managers in administering performance reviews and providing feedback to employees.
  • Assist in developing performance improvement plans and coaching managers on effective feedback.
  • Promote a culture of continuous performance improvement and development.

HR Administration

  • Manage HR systems, databases, and employee records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in processing payroll, benefits enrollment, and employee status changes.
  • Generate HR reports and metrics to support strategic decisions and workforce planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR (or relevant experience in roles such as HR Assistant, Recruiter, or Employee Relations).
  • Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and general HR tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

Schedule:
