Manager

Responsibilities:-

Summary

• Manage logistics operations and customs requirement policy & procedures
• Performance steering for logistics and customs, meeting logistics and customs performance results. This includes effective monitoring and leveraging analytics to sustain high level of operating discipline
• Responsible for business continuity process and periodic risk management reviews.
• Ownership of operational processes, initiatives and projects relevant in relation to scope of logistics and customs.
• Develop and responsible for establishment, adherence and adequate documentation of logistics and customs processes and compliance to policies and procedures
• Collaboration with customs & internal logistics operation, not limited to escalation to management on the non-conformance, but also looking for new opportunities for continuous improvement including automation and digitalization initiatives.

Customs Procedures

• Responsible compliance to company policies and local regulatory and statutory requirements specifically on customs.
• Responsible to process the renewal of any Custom’s licensing for the company within the stipulate time frame.
• Responsible for customs operations processing to ensure accurate duty & tax processing up to duty payment processing within the scope of customs.
• Manage customs and authority (relevant), contact point for customs and relevant liaison, updates, communication, audits and disputes.
• Manage operations of logistics and Bonded warehouse, when it is related to customs process & procedures.

Operational Management

• Monitoring logistics functional costs and expenses in line with the budget
• Ensure operational critical control points are defined, monitored and adhered
• Ensure compliance of existing / new business flow and/or exceptional handling solution as per company policy and directive.
• Identify, recommend and implement measures to improve logistics and customs process efficiency, effectiveness and operational costs and cost impact to the company.
• Effective and efficient non-conformance management, issue log management and gap improvement
• Maintain effective collaboration and engagement with operational department.
• Responsible as key person to share, disseminate regarding logistics and customs updates to / from local stakeholders

Requirement:-

Education

Degree in Business Administration or equivalent, and other Degree with relevant work experience

Working Experience

Minimum 10 years in Warehouse / Forwarding, Customs & Foreign Trade, Logistics in Multinational Company.

Technical & Professional Knowledge

• Warehouse management / operational logistics knowledge,

• Extensive knowledge of Malaysian customs processes and policies

• Good communication & collaboration skills.

• KEK Certificate (Kursus Ejen Kastam)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
