Deputy Manager, Project
Responsibilities :
1. Assist Superiors on daily operations of the projects assigned and ensure that the approved business plans are realized in accordance within the set timelines through effective coordination of multiple projects teams and efficient use of resources.
2. Assist Superiors in coordination of development of master plan, layout plans, details building plans and other planning works. This is including liaising and supervises consultant teams with regards to civil and M&E infrastructure master plan.
3. Assist Superiors to submit, plan and monitor status of clearance letter by respective authorities, e.g. arrange site inspection, follow-up on issuance of approval plans/letters and finally issuance of CCC by local authorities.
4. Assist Superiors to participate in Technical Tender clarification/ interview, monitor site works progress, anticipate and resolve problems and contractual disputes. This is including vetting through all tender documents/budget before forward to Procurement & Contract Team for tender.
5. Assist Superiors in project inception, feasibility studies /cost estimate, conceptual design, design development & construction management.
6. Proactively involve in construction contract execution by means of monitoring site progress, problem solving, cost control and variation order review, take ownership of the project completion with the aim of minimizing both design and workmanship defects.
7. Assist in preparation of Vacant Possession procedures such as liaising with internal stakeholders on owners utilities meter applications, Pre-Delivery Inspection, compilation of handover documents such as as-builts, Operation Manuals and warranty.
8. Share accountability for the implementation and compliance to the approved quality, occupational safety, health and environment standards towards meeting customers’ expectations and fulfilling regulatory requirements.
9. Implement all related policies, procedures and work instructions as so defined in the Company’s Quality Management System.
10. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Superiors
Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:
1. Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture/Project Management/Construction Management or equivalent.
2. Minimum eight (8) years experience with exposure in project and construction management or other relevant experiences.
3. Analytical with planning and organizational skills. Has knowledge on construction management, contract administration and budgeting.
4. Well versed in coordination for architecture, structural, mechanical and electrical works, and interior design (ID) works.
5. Good interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills.
6. Self-motivated person and able to work independently.
7. Able to liaise with consultants, authorities and contractors effectively.
8. Able to take challenges and willing to work long hours.
9. Time, cost, quality and safety conscious.
10. Computer literate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM7,500.00 - RM9,500.00 per month
