Site Safety Supervisor
Job Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that safety policies and procedures are implemented in accordance with local regulations, industry standards, and organisational guidelines.
2. Perform risk assessments for operations, events, and facilities to identify potential hazards, including vehicle-borne threats.
3. Ensure that safety standards, particularly those related to the mitigation of hostile vehicles, are followed, including OHSAS.
4. Evaluate and implement physical barriers, such as bollards, fences, or vehicle checkpoints, to prohibit unauthorised vehicle entry.
5. Propose appropriate HVM solutions, including the type of barriers and their placement, in accordance with the hazard assessment.
6. Collaborate with engineering and safety teams to oversee the installation, testing, and maintenance of HVM systems.
7. Develop and implement emergency response strategies for incidents that involve vehicle-borne hazards.
8. Conduct training sessions and exercises for personnel that address threat identification, evacuation protocols, and response strategies.
9. Act as the primary point of contact during emergencies to facilitate communication between law enforcement and emergency services.
10. Conduct safety training sessions for stakeholders, contractors, and employees, with a focus on the identification and mitigation of hostile vehicle hazards.
11. Encourage a culture of safety and vigilance within the organisation.
12. Conduct investigations into safety incidents, such as successful or attempted hostile vehicle intrusions.
13. Generate reports, document discoveries, and propose preventative strategies for future mitigation.
14. Evaluate and revise safety plans and procedures in response to emergent hazards or lessons learnt from incidents.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Possess at least Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Safety & Health.
2. Preferably with Yellow Book.
3. Effective problem-solving abilities.
4. Willing to travel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
