Job Responsibilities:
- To monitor and enforce safety compliance at the project site in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994, Factory and Machinery Act, and other relevant regulations.
- To conduct daily safety inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- To implement and oversee site-specific safety procedures to ensure workers' health and safety.
- To conduct Toolbox Talks, safety briefings, and site induction for workers and subcontractors.
- To investigate and report accidents, near misses, and unsafe practices, including preparing detailed incident reports with recommendations.
- To ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce safety rules among site personnel.
- To coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to maintain safety compliance during all project phases.
- To maintain and update all safety documentation, including permit-to-work (PTW), safety reports, and risk assessments.
- To assist in the preparation of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP).
- To liaise with relevant authorities such as DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health) and CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board) to ensure regulatory compliance.
- To ensure emergency response plans are in place and conduct periodic safety drills.
Qualification(s):
- Must possess a valid Yellow Book issued by DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia) and valid CIDB card.
- Minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or manufacturing project sites.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
- Excellent communication skills to conduct safety briefings and enforce safety rules effectively.
- Ability to work independently on project sites with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in preparing safety reports, permit-to-work (PTW), and accident investigation reports.
- Physically fit to conduct on-site monitoring and inspections.
- Certification in First Aid, Fire Safety, or Emergency Response Planning.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System).

- Kulai, Johor and any Company project site.
