Cluster Head – Fintech Product Sales

Type: Individual Contributor which will lead into a team management role

Malaysia or Thailand

Important Skills: Candidates who apply must have sold Fintech products/ Banking Technology products to the Banking and Financial Services industry. Candidates who have a mix of Product Sales and Services Sales will also be considered

Candidates need to have the legal right to work in Malaysia/Thailand (Citizen/PR)

Responsibilities

  • Sales: The Cluster manager must use their acumen, connections and understanding of the Banking and Financial services ecosystem to acquire new Business across the assigned sectors
  • Business Development: Drive business growth in the company. Develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income. Track progress against plan by implementing strong processes & review mechanisms using well- defined metrics.
  • Account Management: Developin strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports. The strength of these relationships, combined with our technology based solutions, will eventually determine the success of in each market in terms of market share and revenue. Should be able to plan, assess and implement monetization avenues in the market and be responsible for the teams funnel management
  • The incumbent will be owner of the quality of the tasks assigned to the team
  • Map Competition/ Market Insights: To be able to take timely action, it is imperative that we monitor the market and be informed of competition's initiatives. Cluster Managers play a pivotal role in monitoring competition activity in key accounts and ensure appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented. With their own observations coupled with inputs from the team, Cluster managers must share best practices internally for growth
  • Team Management(down the line): Be responsible to build the team by ensuring hiring of appropriate resources where needed and ensure 100% manning in their clusters. Onboard and provide on-the-job-training to improve performance. Demonstrated ability to connect with the team beyond work as well and understand the driving factors for each member. Monitor KPIs and coach team members on an ongoing basis
  • Drive execution rigor by being in the market and observing team visits to their designated geography
  • Work closely with team towards adherence to timelines & target achievements on a daily basis

Requirements

  • Experience in Selling Banking Technology products to the Banking and Financial services industry
  • Proven working experience of 12-15 years in business development
  • Exposure to the start up environment is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Problem solving abilities with strong bias for impact
  • Strong ethics and discretion while dealing with customers
  • Drive for result, able to demonstrate/quantify success relative established targets and metrics
  • Should have handled team and processes like goal setting, performance management
