Job Overview
The IT Solution Engineer plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting IT solutions that drive the company's business objectives. This position requires a strategic problem-solver who can analyze business requirements, architect scalable solutions, and manage complex projects from inception through to deployment. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the IT Solution Engineer will ensure seamless integration of new technologies, provide advanced technical support, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Success in this role involves a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and strong communication to deliver high-quality, impactful IT solutions that align with Time dotCom’s growth and innovation goals.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Business Requirements Analysis: Partner with internal stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Solution Design: Architect scalable IT solutions across software, hardware, and networks that align with business goals.
- Project Management: Lead the entire project lifecycle, ensuring delivery within timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- System Integration: Oversee the seamless integration of new solutions with existing systems, troubleshooting any compatibility or performance issues.
- Technical Support: Provide Level 3 support for complex technical issues, collaborating with IT teams and vendors for quick resolution.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent communication with business units, providing updates on project status, challenges, and solution delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas to improve IT services through automation, system upgrades, and new technology adoption.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for IT systems, solutions, and projects.
- Training and Knowledge Transfer: Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer for IT staff and end-users on new technologies and solutions.
What You Need
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT business solutions, business analysis, or systems management
- Skilled in endpoint management solutions (e.g., Microsoft Intune or similar)
- Hands-on experience with endpoint security configurations (antivirus, encryption)
- Knowledgeable in device lifecycle management (provisioning, monitoring, patching, decommissioning)
- Proficient in collaboration tools like Office 365, Slack, Zoom, Jira, Confluence
- Immediate availability or a short notice period is an added advantage
