Duties and Responsibilities: Production Management Review production schedules and work orders, assigning duties to workers based on order priorities. Ensure that production parameters follow the customer’s Master Parameter requirements. Monitor daily output, cycle time, and product rejection rates to ensure smooth production operations. Leadership Supervision Oversee the job scope of production leaders and ensure they are effectively training operators using the correct methods. Ensure leaders assign operators to handle jammed parts and complete work orders on time. Confirm that the quantity of jammed parts is properly weighed and recorded every two hours by the leader. Ensure "on hold" parts are processed within 24 hours, or no later than 3 days from the "on hold" date. Verify that parts are in good condition and meet committed cycle times. Analyze the root causes of rejected parts and take corrective actions. Assist production leaders in addressing performance issues by providing retraining or escalating new operators to HR for counseling, as necessary. Technical Support Supervise technicians and monitor machine conditions, ensuring that production resumes stable operations after at least three test shots. When production is halted for over 24 hours, ensure a first-piece approval is obtained from QC and that a detailed report is submitted. Machine Management Issue machine maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department when necessary to resolve machine issues. Manpower Management Notify the Production Manager of any manpower shortages. Ensure that all manpower is operating according to the correct methods as per Work Instructions (WI). Tooling Management Issue Mould Repair Requisition forms to the Tooling Department when required. 5S Management Manage and ensure proper implementation of the 5S workplace organization method within the production area. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in production management or a similar role. Strong understanding of production workflows and machine operation. Ability to lead and manage teams effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle operational issues promptly. Good communication and interpersonal skills to manage a team and coordinate with different departments. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Achieving daily/weekly/monthly production targets. Reduction in cycle time and rejection rates. Efficient manpower utilization and training effectiveness. Successful adherence to 5S standards and production workflow optimizations.
