ROLE
Contribute to the successful implementation of the enterprise risk management and business continuity management programs throughout the organization. Foster a culture of compliance by actively promoting the significance of adherence to policies and regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and continuity planning are integrated into all business processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Enterprise Risk Management
- Assist in the formulation and execution of the strategic Mid-Term-Plan and Annual Operating Plan
- Assist in developing ERM maturity roadmap and drive the ERM maturity of the organisation
- Facilitate the use of risk assessment methodology, system and processes to assist risk managers in identifying and managing risks.
- Conduct trainings and workshops to ERM Coordinators, risk managers and relevant stakeholders.
- Lead the identification and assessment of risks as well as mitigation plans through regular engagement with risk managers and action owners. Review and enhance the quality of the risk register and related reports.
- Facilitate the risk management meetings and present the risks to the senior leadership team and Audit Committee.
- Prepare presentation slides for reporting to various stakeholders.
- Follow up with ERM Coordinators to ensure timely quarterly reporting.
- Research emerging risks and trends in the industry and provide advice and recommendations to management where appropriate.
- Guide risk managers and action owners to understand the risks and internal controls in Control Self-Assessment (CSA) including responsible for coordinating and reviewing for timely and quality completion of the assessment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Business Continuity Management
- Assist in establishing the Business Continuity Management (BCM) Policy and Framework.
- Support the consistent and quality implementation of the BCM framework across the organisation.
- Provide training and conduct workshops to BCM Coordinators, BCM Champions, and relevant stakeholders to enhance their knowledge and ability to carry out the BCM activities.
- Provide guidance to BCM Coordinators and BCM Champions to establish and document Business Impact Analysis (BIAs) and Business Continuity Strategies (BCS); including performing quality review and documentation enhancement of the reports.
- Document Business Continuity Plans, Crisis Management Plans and other relevant plans required to manage a crisis/disaster.
- Plan and facilitate scenario testing and simulation exercises.
- Coordinate and monitor crisis management and communication activities with relevant stakeholders and develop port-mortem reports and improvement plans, where necessary.
Compliance
- Promote the Code of Conduct and reinforce other related compliance topics across the organization.
- Assist with roll-out of annual compliance survey, analyse & communicate results as well as develop and execution of compliance plan.
- Coordinate compliance activities with relevant stakeholders across the organization.
QUALIFICATION CRITERIA
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
- At least 7 years of relevant experience encompassing Risk Management and Business Continuity. Prior experience in external audit / internal audit would be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management and Business Continuity Management principles and methodologies.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills including ability to present and write clearly.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Good project management skill and ability to manage multiple assignments within deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge in ERM tools is a plus.
- Experience in MNCs (multi-cultural organizations) and/or the FMCG industry is beneficial.
