  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  5. Click JavaScript.

Mantissa College is looking for a skilled ICT Support Academic Staff member to provide technical support to faculty and students using our ODL platforms. This role will play a key part in ensuring that all digital learning activities run smoothly and that users receive the assistance they need to thrive in an online learning environment.

Job Scope:

  • Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance to academic staff and students in the use of ODL platforms, addressing any issues or challenges they encounter.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot LMS-related issues and support digital learning activities, ensuring timely resolution to maintain an optimal learning experience.
  • Resource Development: Assist in the creation and maintenance of digital learning resources, ensuring they are accessible and user-friendly.
  • Training: Provide training and guidance to faculty and students on the effective use of e-learning technologies and tools, enhancing their digital competencies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams to ensure the stability and reliability of ODL platforms, participating in regular maintenance and updates.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in supporting e-learning platforms, preferably with knowledge of LMS systems (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges in a timely manner.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
