External Academic Advisor (Project Based / Part-Time)

Mantissa College is seeking a qualified and experienced External Academic Advisor to provide expert academic guidance and ensure the quality of our ODL-Open Distance Learning Programme in Business and Digital Marketing (Diploma / Degree) Faculty. This advisory role is essential in maintaining high standards for our curriculum and delivery methods. Job Scope:

• Academic Guidance: Provide expert academic guidance to ensure the quality and relevance of ODL programmes, aligning them with industry standards and educational best practices.
• Review & Evaluation: Review and evaluate course content, assessments, and learning outcomes to ensure they meet educational objectives and accreditation requirements.
• Best Practices Consultation: Advise on best practices for ODL delivery and curriculum design, offering insights based on current research and trends in online education.
• Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive reports based on programme structure, including recommendations for improvements and enhancements to the curriculum.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with faculty and administration to facilitate the implementation of recommendations and best practices.

Requirements:

• PhD or Master’s degree in a relevant field (preferably in education, curriculum development, or instructional design).
• Extensive experience in online education or curriculum development, with a strong understanding of ODL methodologies.
• Strong background in higher education, preferably with experience in business or digital marketing disciplines.
• Proven ability to assess and provide constructive feedback on academic programmes and course offerings.

Pay: RM1,000.00 - RM1,500.00 per month
