Key Responsibilities: 1. Design, implement, and maintain a sustainable IT infrastructure architecture to provide highly available IT hardware and services, including data centers, physical/virtual servers, networking equipment, storage systems, backup, recovery systems and so on. Ensure the infrastructure meets the operational demands of the organization, and provide continuous support across all locations and divisions/departments. 2. Regularly review, analyse, and enhance servers, networking systems, workstations, and other IT assets to ensure high performance, compatibility, and security standards as set out in the relevant IT policies and procedure, market/industry standards/requirements and/or regulatory requirements. Oversee timely updates and upgrades to maintain optimal working conditions and avoid technical obsolescence. 3. Develop and enforce cybersecurity framework and protocols focusing on preventing and mitigating cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Lead cybersecurity monitoring initiatives, including system and network log analysis, to detect, triage, isolate, and respond to suspicious activities proactively. Deep-dive and conduct root cause analysis and implement short-term and long-term remedies to protect organisation's assets. 4. Establish or collaborate with the CIO in establishing comprehensive IT policies on infrastructure and cybersecurity governance. Develop procedures and guidelines specific to IT infrastructure, digital asset management and protection, compliance with industry security standards and regulatory requirements. 5. Establish and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for incident and request management and resolution. Continuously assess and improve/enhance the team’s performance in responding to and resolving IT infrastructure-related issues and requests timely. 6. Recommend and/or lead initiatives for hardware technology refreshes, upgrades, or replacements to prevent obsolescence and mitigate potential performance and security risks. Advise on and implement the latest updates and technology advancements to ensure that all infrastructure components are up-to-date. 7. Account for all the IT assets across the organisation. Oversee the inventory and life cycle of all hardware assets across the organization, ensuring accurate records, efficient utilization, traceability and proper disposal or repurposing as needed. 8. Act as a liaison with other departments to facilitate the smooth execution of IT projects including but not limited to infrastructure and hardware upgrades. Communicate technical requirements to relevant stakeholders for coordinated infrastructure management, and IT governance. 9. Build a cohesive and skilled infrastructure team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Facilitate talent development through coaching, mentoring, and performance management, ensuring team members are equipped and knowledgeable to address emerging infrastructure and cybersecurity challenges. Qualifications: · Educational Background: Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. · Advanced certifications in infrastructure or cybersecurity (such as CEH, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA, or CCNA) are highly preferred. · Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity. Experience in managing IT environments within a large organization is an advantage. · Technical Skills: Proficiency in network, server and other appliances configuration and management, cybersecurity frameworks, and knowledge of industry-standard monitoring and analytical tools. Leadership Abilities: Demonstrate experience in leading cross-functional teams.
