General Description:

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a crucial role in the sales process by identifying and qualifying potential customers. Your primary responsibility will be to generate new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline for the company. You will be the first point of contact for potential clients, engaging with them to understand their needs and interest in our products or services. Job Responsibilities:

    -Educate SME retailers and F&B operators on the importance of using their data to gain insights into their business and customers with the objective of increasing their revenues and decreasing their costs. -Working closely with the Head of Sales. -Generating, qualifying, and nurturing leads through researching, making calls, and emailing SME retailers in order to get appointments and opportunities. -Successfully create business from new customer accounts. -Set up meetings with the customers for in-depth consultancy. -Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to clients and partners. -Prospecting: Conduct research and identify potential clients through various channels such as online databases, social media, networking events, and lead generation tools. -Outbound Communication: Reach out to prospective customers through cold calls, emails, and personalized messages to introduce our company's products or services and gauge their interest. -Lead Qualification: Assess the needs and requirements of potential clients to determine their suitability for our offerings. Qualify leads based on set criteria and prioritize opportunities for further follow-up. -Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and demonstrations for the sales team with qualified prospects to further explore business opportunities. -Relationship Building: Nurture relationships with potential clients by providing them with relevant information and addressing their queries. Maintain communication to keep them engaged with the company's offerings. -Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales team to align strategies and provide them with valuable insights into potential customers, ensuring a smooth handover of qualified leads. -CRM Management: Record and update all relevant information related to leads and prospects accurately in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. -Market Insights: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market developments to better understand customer needs and enhance sales strategies. -Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly targets for lead generation, qualification, and appointment setting.
