Responsibilities:
- Assist the Internal Audit Manager in planning, executing audit activities including developing the audit program, assessing risk, and ensuring assignments are completed within deadlines.
- Leverage Internal Audit Methodology to develop and execute testing plans for evaluating internal controls.
- Execute audit assignments, compile workpapers, draft audit reports, and effectively communicate findings to auditees within established plans and deadlines.
- Conduct end-to-end walkthroughs to identify risks, address control gaps and provide audit recommendations to strengthen internal controls, improve the control environment and optimize operational processes.
- Track the implementation of management's action plans for timely closure of audit issues. Perform follow up audits on a quarterly basis.
- Maintain effective professional relationships with auditees and other stakeholders within the Group.
- Keeps abreast of industry policies and procedures, current developments in accounting and auditing professions, and changes in local, state, and federal laws, as applicable.
- Handle multiple assignments and perform other ad-hoc assignments as assigned by the Internal Audit Manager.
- Experience in Enterprise Risk Management will be value added.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in related fields, Accounting, Finance, etc or relevant professional qualifications such as full or part ACCA, CIA etc. is an added advantage
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in internal audit
- Capable to work independently with minimal supervision as well as a dynamic team leader.
- Interpersonal skills, good time management and effective problem-solving
- Demonstrates initiative and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail, resourcefulness and the ability to extract meaningful insights from data and reviews.
- Top of Form Proficient in English and strong report writing skills.
