About the Role

As a UX Analyst you will play a crucial role in enhancing user experiences within Swift’s financial software products. About the Role

As a UX Analyst you will play a crucial role in enhancing user experiences within Swift’s financial software products. You will apply a design thinking approach to collaborate with the product manager to analyze user/customer needs/wants, define problem statements, and use this knowledge in ideating useful product features. You will be responsible for designing usable, simple, understandable and efficient application front-ends including GUIs and data visualizations for high complexity products. You will collaborate with IT delivery teams to ensure that product designs and specifications are implementable and correctly interpreted.

What to expect / your responsibilities

  • User Research: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing) to gather insights on user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze user data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and inform design decisions.
  • User Journey Mapping: Create user personas and journey maps to illustrate user interactions and highlight areas for enhancement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with UX designers, product managers, and developers to ensure a user-centered approach in the design and development process.
  • UX Design and Prototyping: Build mock-ups and prototypes of GUIs for complex software products. Conduct design critiques with stakeholders.
  • Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability tests to evaluate the effectiveness of design solutions and gather actionable feedback for iterations.
  • Documentation: Produce detailed reports and presentations on research findings and design recommendations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on fintech industry trends and competitor offerings to inform design strategies and best practices.

What will make you successful?

  • 2+ years of professional experience in a UX role with track record in the domain of software products UX design.
  • You are a mindful observer of human behavior. Empathy is part of your nature. You feel users’ frustration and understand their points of view.
  • You have strong inter-personal skills. You can establish, coordinate, and facilitate relationships with business and IT units. You are able to independently and confidently facilitate UX related discussions with/between project stakeholders and to assertively present and communicate UX activity outcomes.
  • Practical experience or academic background in Design Thinking methods and experience with facilitating design thinking activities.
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to quickly grasp complex business context of a product or service; ability to quickly study and analyze customer requirements and functional specifications.
  • Technical understanding & vocabulary – You understand how systems work; you can understand and speak engineers’ language.
  • Proficiency in design tools Figma and Axure.
  • Excellent English, both written and spoken is a mandatory pre-requisite.
  • Financial software product design experience is a plus.

Education

University degree or equivalent.
