Product Compliance Inspector ( 6 Months Contract)

Job Description : GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION Responsible to perform routine inspection, sampling, evaluations and audits on sample from inprocess and finished good by the prescribed specifications, test methods and procedures. To determine independently whether materials or lots of products will be held, accepted or rejected and to control status of materials through the use of stickers and documentation. To advice manufacturing supervisors of product quality problems and to report all product rejections to Manufacturing and Quality Assurance. RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. To maintain records of sampling, inspection, evaluation and audit results for product disposition. 2. To train his/her subordinates on relevant SOPs and ensure that they comply fully to the Company’s Quality System, Hygiene practices, and other do’s and don’ts. 3. To direct and organize the assigned task QA operators under his/her supervision. 4. To co-ordinate and plan out the inspections requires to perform of the shift 5. To perform special evaluation / task as directed by QA Laboratory Officer as support activity and technical service to other functions in the company. 6. Reporting to the Associate Specialist, QA for the effective discharge of duties. 7. Must observe company rules, policies and employment conditions. 8. Need to be well versed in the related SOPs and have knowledge of the GMP/Standard requirements. 9. Understand the company’s Quality Policy, Environmental Policy and Occupational Safety & Health Policy, etc. 10. Understand and comply to work-related SOPs and ensure that all the subordinates understand and comply to SOPs by guiding them on their intent and the need to comply. 11. To understand the implications of improper job performance and the need for quality work. 12. To be aware, committed & responsible to understand the importance of protecting the environment, and in compliance to Environmental requirement as communicated by superior through training. 13. To understand and adhere to Quality System Requirements (QSR), ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and other regulatory standards and requirements. 14. To obey company’s rules and regulations, disciplinary procedures and any general instructions issued by the management from time to time. 15. To maintain an acceptable standard of housekeeping in work area and comply to safety requirements and procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times. 16. To perform any other job as assigned by the superior or management. 17. Must at all times protect the confidentiality of the tasks performed by him and the QA operators. Any breach of this requirement will prejudice the company’s interests and will be detrimental to your continued employment. KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education: • STPM or SPM with good grades in Science. Job Experience: • Having related working experience will also be considered.
