Job Summary:

The Corporate Finance Analyst or Manager will be responsible for supporting the company’s corporate development, corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, and decision-making processes. This role involves evaluating investment opportunities, supporting funding strategies, performing financial modeling, and supporting corporate initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Modeling & Valuation:
  • Develop, update, and maintain financial models to support investment and corporate finance activities such as evaluation, valuation, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Conduct discounted cash flow (DCF) and other financial analysis.
  • Analyze and assess the financial feasibility of investment opportunities and corporate development projects.

2. Strategic & Corporate Transactions Support:

  • Support due diligence processes and various analysis for corporate development transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for stakeholders, including board members, lenders and investors.
  • Evaluate financial implications of potential deals and assist in negotiations by providing financial insights.

3. Capital Structure & Funding Strategy:

  • Support the company’s capital structure management, including debt and equity financing options.
  • Analyze funding requirements and recommend optimal capital sourcing strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate financial markets and instruments to assess favorable financing opportunities.

4. Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Working along accounting & tax colleagues on assisting the preparation and coordination of the company’s annual budget and financial forecasts.
  • Working along accounting & tax colleagues on monitoring actual financial performance against budget and forecast, providing variance analysis and insights.
  • Working closely with business colleagues to ensure financial plans are aligned with corporate strategy and goals.

5. Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis:

  • Provide financial analysis and decision support for various corporate initiatives and projects
  • Participate in the development of business cases and presentations for senior executives
  • Support the CFO and/or VP of finance on his/her initiative

Qualifications:

  1. Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Actuarial, Economics, or a numerical field.
  • MBA, CFA, chartered accounting or relevant certifications are a plus.

2. Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, private credit, financial analysis, or related fields.
  • Experience with financial modeling, valuation techniques, and financial forecasting.
  • Experience in supporting both corporate banking and corporate transactions in real estate, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industries (M&A, investments, joint ventures) is a plus
  • Interested applicants from corporate banking, investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance (in-house or advisory) are encouraged to apply.

3. Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and financial analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of financial statements, corporate finance, and capital markets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting financial data clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Ability to read and converse in Mandarin is a plus.
