Job Description:

  • Purchasing Report: Provide monthly purchasing reports to management.
  • Procurement Management: Oversee the purchasing of goods and services and handle all related documentation for the company.
  • Sourcing: Source for supplies, services, and equipment required by the company, adhering to the approved budget and administrative regulations set by management.
  • Negotiation & Contract Execution: Negotiate and recommend the execution of contracts/orders for the purchase of supplies, services, and equipment.
  • Rules & Procedures: Prepare and provide purchasing rules and procedures for managers and department heads, ensuring revisions and updates are made when necessary.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on developments in purchasing, prices, market conditions, and new products.
  • Payment Verification: Verify all documents for payment preparations.
  • Ad-hoc Duties: Perform any additional tasks or assignments as delegated by management.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Agriculture/Forestry/Plantation Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in purchasing or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Positive work attitude, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform multitasking.
  • Familiarity with Auto count software is an advantage.
  • Willingness to Travel: Must be willing to travel to various sites as required.

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Location: Johor Bahru (Candidate must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
