ICT Executive (6-month Contract)

The role involves maintaining and repairing non-server end-user computers, installing new equipment and software, and advising on enhancements based on technological trends. Responsibilities include system administration tasks like setting up new users, managing email distribution lists, ensuring password security, and monitoring system performance. The role also involves managing ICT hardware stock, maintaining records through the Asset Management system, and ensuring proper functioning of computer equipment for both curriculum and administrative use. In addition, the position supports staff and students by logging service requests, providing solutions through screencasts, and assisting in the development of procedures for safe equipment usage. The role includes training users on office systems and applications, supporting Windows and Apple software/hardware issues, and managing the Technology Development Plan. Further duties include maintaining systems like Office 365, Apple MDM, printer management, and remote monitoring software, as well as supporting AV equipment, computer labs, and special rooms. The role also covers helpdesk support, setting up ICT equipment, and software updates.
