- Utilize TCM diagnostic techniques, such as pulse and tongue diagnosis, to assess the root cause of imbalances and health concerns. individualized treatment plans incorporating various TCM modalities, such as:
o Acupuncture
o Herbal medicine
o Tuina (therapeutic massage)
o Cupping therapy
o Dietary and lifestyle recommendations
- Perform safe and effective acupuncture treatments, adhering to sterile technique and proper needle insertion protocols.
- Dispense herbal formulas and educate patients on proper usage and potential side effects.
- Maintain detailed patient records and document treatment progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, when necessary, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, empathy, and patient confidentiality.
- National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) Diplomate in Acupuncture or a related TCM modality.
- Able to speak in Mandarin
- Candidates must possess at least Diploma
- State license to practice acupuncture (if required by your state).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical TCM setting.
- Strong understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, diagnosis, and treatment principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
