Responsibilities

  • Responsible for growing sales revenue by achieving sales target and margin, ensuring year to year growth.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations.
  • Facilitate solving customer problems on application issues through training, information and recommendation of solutions through knowledge of competitive offerings, as well as, pre-sales, post-sales, demos and executing against marketing initiatives.
  • Responsible for sales activities to meet sales goals and develop new prospects and penetrate competitive accounts.
  • Setup, maintain, monitor, and cultivate accurate customer files and sales opportunities in Salesforce.com.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and seminars that speak to the customers’ business needs and applications by positioning our products as solutions to meet those needs.
  • Continues update information to marketing team to create business development programs.
  • Work closely with service team and extended regional sales team and business units in order to promote a high level of customer support.
  • Provide local support for planned customer event throughout the year. Provide feedback to management on industry trends, customers growth opportunities.
  • Submit accurate and timely monthly sales forecasts. Develop business plan through quarterly plans of action.

Basic Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Masters in Chemistry
  • At least 8 years of sales experience in Analytical instruments.
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills in both verbal and written English & Bahasa Malaysia
  • Have own transport and willing to travel domestically.
  • Independent and able to work as a team.
  • Computer literate, knowledge in MS Office - Excel, Word, Powerpoint
