Key Accountabilities: -Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments. -Build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on industry experience and contact with customers and prospects. -Define product requirements. -Work with Sales and Marketing to define go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers. -Serve as internal and external subject matter expert for product offerings. Key Roles: -Assist the Head of Product to manage the product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. -Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and prospects. -Prepare, maintain and execute the product roadmap that defines product enhancements for short and long-term releases. -Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, overseeing interdepartmental activities to execute plans. -Translate product strategy into precise requirements for both prototyping and final development, facilitating implementation by cross-functional team. -Validate detailed specification and development costing versus market potential and future predictable revenue. -Become subject matter experts in product’s markets and provide vision and leadership to technology R&D efforts. -Monitor and analyze new technologies and inform management of their potential applications to our business. Conduct and lead forward looking research studies. -Forge close collaboration with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams throughout the product lifecycle, from development and quality assurance to release, adeptly managing resources to drive success across the organization. -Work with product trainer to develop product-training plan internally and externally. -Consult with Support team to ensure appropriate service levels for the product line. -Act as product champion within the company. Team Work: -Attend and contribute to team meetings in a positive manner. -Share information with team members. -Be comfortable in working with all stakeholders. -Collaborate with other team members to apply new ideas, practices and tools to improve the team’s effectiveness. -Perform other duties as required, including covering absences/leave where required. Specification: -Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields. -Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software & mobile app. development and web technologies. -More than 5 years’ experience in managing product development & innovation. -Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done. -Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, complemented by dynamic presentation and public speaking abilities.
