Job Description:
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
- Set up meetings with potential clients to understand their wishes and concerns.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
- Create regular reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
- Represent the company at exhibitions or conferences.
- Negotiate and close deals while addressing complaints or objections.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams.
- Attend weekly event meeting.
- Maintain the sales department's main correspondence database.
- Assist with the compilation of annual budgets, business plans and regular action plans.
- Support the preparation of new products and services.
- Meet individual and group business targets on a monthly and yearly basis, responding promptly to all inquiries and correspondence from customers and prospects.
- Assist clients with suite bookings and the organization of events and functions to achieve sales target.
- Conduct regular sales visits and service contacts via telephone, maintaining existing accounts while focusing on new ones to expand the overall customer base.
- Contribute to the development of sales promotions and strategies by submitting recommendations to the HOD for reviews and approval.
- Work closely with other departments to arrange accommodations, services, and special events for booked business.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong negotiation and networking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Solid understanding of hotel operations and services.
- Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
