Job Description:

  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
  • Set up meetings with potential clients to understand their wishes and concerns.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
  • Create regular reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions or conferences.
  • Negotiate and close deals while addressing complaints or objections.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams.
  • Attend weekly event meeting.
  • Maintain the sales department's main correspondence database.
  • Assist with the compilation of annual budgets, business plans and regular action plans.
  • Support the preparation of new products and services.
  • Meet individual and group business targets on a monthly and yearly basis, responding promptly to all inquiries and correspondence from customers and prospects.
  • Assist clients with suite bookings and the organization of events and functions to achieve sales target.
  • Conduct regular sales visits and service contacts via telephone, maintaining existing accounts while focusing on new ones to expand the overall customer base.
  • Contribute to the development of sales promotions and strategies by submitting recommendations to the HOD for reviews and approval.
  • Work closely with other departments to arrange accommodations, services, and special events for booked business.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field will be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong negotiation and networking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Solid understanding of hotel operations and services.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
