Job Responsibilities
- Partner with business units to identify strategic locations for branch expansion/consolidation.
- Conduct market research, mapping, and analysis to inform property footprint decisions.
- Monitor property market trends and execute asset acquisition/disposal strategies, from valuation to completion.
- Manage relationships with landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers, agents, government liaisons, and solicitors to protect the Bank's interests.
- Support legal processes related to property transactions, including contract negotiations, due diligence, and title reviews.
- Prepare and present land acquisition proposals, including financial modeling; Collaborate with project teams on asset repositioning, fit-outs, and lease management.
- Maintain accurate records of all property transactions and ensure compliance with the Bank's Code of Conduct.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience involvement in property acquisition and disposal management;
- Able to demonstrate progressive, innovative, and flexible delivery of property acquisition and disposal;
- A proven track record in acquisition and disposal Management;
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems, develop opportunities and implement solutions/approaches;
- Strong competency in managing a large pool of vendors for locations throughout Malaysia;
- Candidates who are working within the property industry will be given preference.
- Fluent inEnglish communication
Special Skills
- Good knowledge of contracts, building by-laws, safety & technical policies, and sustainable and green building requirements;
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, through all levels of the organization and strong negotiation skills;
- Self-motivated, and hardworking with the ability to work independently.
Other Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Able to travel throughout Malaysia to locations as directed, branches and centers.
