Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Public Relations & Marketing Executive to join our team. This role combines both public relations and marketing responsibilities, focusing on building and maintaining a positive brand image, increasing brand awareness, and creating compelling marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media relations, communication strategies, and digital marketing, with a passion for shaping the public perception of the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Public Relations & Media Relations:
- Develop and execute public relations strategies to enhance the company’s brand image and visibility.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists and bloggers.
- Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials to secure media coverage.
- Manage media inquiries, coordinate interviews, and prepare company spokespeople for media appearances.
- Monitor and report on media coverage, tracking PR campaign success and brand sentiment.
2. Marketing Campaigns:
- Assist in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (digital, social, traditional media).
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, and newsletters.
- Coordinate the execution of online and offline marketing activities, including email marketing, social media, events, and promotions.
3. Social Media Management:
- Manage the company’s social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Create engaging and creative content to drive audience engagement and increase brand awareness.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and potential PR issues.
- Engage with followers and respond to inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely and professional manner.
4. Content Creation:
- Write, edit, and proofread content for press releases, blog posts, social media, and marketing materials.
- Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s tone, voice, and key messages.
- Collaborate with internal teams or external agencies to produce high-quality content for campaigns and initiatives.
5. Event Management & Coordination:
- Assist in organizing and promoting PR and marketing events, product launches, webinars, and conferences.
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, attendee communication, and on-site support.
- Develop post-event reports, analyzing event effectiveness and outcomes.
6. Branding & Messaging:
- Ensure consistency in messaging across all marketing and public relations materials.
- Support the creation of brand messaging that resonates with target audiences and enhances the company's public image.
- Collaborate with the design team to produce visually compelling assets aligned with marketing objectives.
7. Analytics & Reporting:
- Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of PR and marketing campaigns.
- Use analytics tools to measure social media performance, web traffic, and the success of marketing initiatives.
- Provide regular reports and insights to the Marketing Manager regarding PR, media coverage, and campaign performance.
8. Client Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients to manage expectations, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring the alignment of marketing and PR campaigns with their objectives.
- Regularly update clients on project progress, campaign performance, and new opportunities to enhance brand visibility and growth.
- Address client concerns and feedback promptly, fostering trust and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client-focused strategies.
Qualifications:
1. Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
2. Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in public relations, marketing, or communications.
- Experience working with media outlets or journalists is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, content creation, and social media management.
3. Communication Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to craft compelling press materials, social media content, and marketing messages.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with media and stakeholders.
4. Creativity & Innovation:
- Ability to think creatively and generate fresh ideas for PR and marketing initiatives.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Digital Proficiency:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or Canva) is a plus.
- Experience with content management systems and email marketing campaigns.
6. Analytical Skills:
- Ability to track and analyze PR and marketing data to optimize campaigns.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to provide data-driven recommendations.
7. Adaptability:
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in marketing trends and public relations dynamics.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
8. Event Management Skills:
- Experience in planning, organizing, and promoting events, both online and offline.
· 5 days work week
· 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
· Working location at Menara Zurich, Johor Bahru
· 14 days Public Holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
