Responsibilities Of Duty 1. To report to the Production Manager. 2. To familiarize yourself with all the various departments in AMC CINCARIA SDN BHD, and to understand their various functions and procedures. 3. To create the right Manufacturing Documents, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs), you must be able to: a. Evaluate manufacturing processes by doing research, trials and development. b. Apply knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials. c. Confer with equipment vendors. d. Soliciting observations from the Manufacturing Specialists (MSs). e. Develop manufacturing processes by studying the product’s requirements – through process cycle time, line balancing, minimizing rejects and scraps on the line, line process improvement. f. Confer and cooperate with the Process Improvement Department. g. Confer and cooperate with the Test & Debug Department to develop testing methods. h. Calculate production, labour and material costs so as to establish manufacturing parameters. i. Build in estimated future requirements to establish contingency in manufacturing parameters. 4. To improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflows, space requirements, and equipment layout. 5. To confirm Manufacturing Processes before creating the Manufacturing Documents (SOPs, WIs). 6. To document product and process reports through the collection, analysis and summary of Production Information and Trends, in relation to the Products, that you are creating the Manufacturing Documents for. 7. To provide manufacturing engineering documentation when requested. 8. To unceasingly maintain a thirst and desire to learn, especially related to technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. 9. To ensure that all projects are completed punctually and managed professionally by creating comprehensive and detailed Manufacturing Documents. 10.
