This VDS Data Specialist role presents the opportunity to explore and research the automotive aftermarket of the SEA region. If you are detail-oriented then this position is the right suit for you as our company is constantly trying to improve the accuracy of our data.
Job Qualification
- Adhere to company workflows, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct PESTLE analysis on automotive markets in the SEA region.Research and collect domestic/foreign automotive data and parts information from reliable sources in the SEA region as per company requirements.
- Investigate and validate collected data to ensure accuracy and completeness before inputting it into the system.
- Identify and correct data errors based on established workflows.
- Analyze collected or provided information to generate detailed reports.
- Collaborate with team leaders and other departments on daily operations, providing technical support to ensure projects are delivered on time.
Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Data Management, Vehicle Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
- 3–5 years of experience working with large data sets, preferably within the automotive industry or related fields.
- Strong understanding of the automotive industry; experience in the automotive aftermarket is highly valued.
- Proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with Access and SQL is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and written English skills.
