  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our client growing organization.Preferable someone who have experienced in retail or fashion industry. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy, driving sustainable growth, and ensuring the company’s financial health. You will lead financial planning, reporting, risk management, and strategic decision-making processes, all while driving innovation and maintaining high ethical standards in financial management.

Position: Chief Financial Officer

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Responsibilities:

  • Develop & Execute Financial Strategy: Align financial strategy with overall business goals, overseeing planning, budgeting, and forecasting across the organization.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Supervise the preparation of financial reports, offering key insights into company performance and trends for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify financial and operational risks and implement strategies to mitigate them while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Capital Management: Lead the capital structure and investment strategies, optimizing resources to drive growth and profitability.
  • Corporate Finance Leadership: Spearhead mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions while maintaining strong relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions.
  • Corporate Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and implement robust internal controls and governance frameworks.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Provide direction to the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting professional development.
  • Strategic Decision Support: Evaluate business opportunities, assess financial implications, and advise on strategic actions to drive company growth.

Skills Required:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proven leadership ability with a track record of driving organizational change.
  • Excellent communication skills (Mandarin is a plus) with the ability to present financial information effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to make data-driven decisions to guide long-term business strategy.

Additional Skills:

  • High ethical standards and integrity in financial management.
  • Expertise in financial management software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
  • Professional Qualification: Must hold a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA) and be a member of MIA.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably in a Retail Industry or Public Listed Company.
  • Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices specific to the industries the company operates in.
  • Able to speak English and Mandarin

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM20,000.00 per month
