PROJECT MANAGER Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager specializing in Abrasive Blasting, Protective Coatings, and Thermal Spray Applications. This full-time, on-site role will be responsible for managing and overseeing the execution of projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager will oversee operations, coordinate internal and site teams, deliver technical sales presentations, and lead workers to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Project Planning & Execution: o Prepare and review detailed quotations and proposals for coating services, ensuring accurate project scope, costs, and deliverables are clearly defined and aligned with client expectations. o Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects in Abrasive Blasting, Protective Coatings, and Thermal Spray Applications. o Develop project timelines, manage resources, allocate budgets, and ensure the efficient use of materials and equipment. o Oversee the successful completion of all technical and operational aspects of coating services, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards. o Attend kick-off meetings to align project expectations and objectives. o Review ITB (Invitation to Bid), ITP (Inspection Test Plan), project schedules, and procedures to ensure compliance and readiness. • Team & Worker Management: o Supervise and coordinate the work of on-site teams, including abrasive blasting, coating, and thermal spray application crews, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and quality. o Provide leadership and direction to maintain high standards of workmanship, ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations, and promote productivity • Technical Sales Presentations: o Lead and support the development and delivery of technical sales presentations for clients, focusing on abrasive blasting, coatings, and thermal spray services. o Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and present tailored solutions, highlighting technical capabilities and the benefits of our services. o In-depth understanding of technical aspects related to coatings, blasting, and thermal spray applications, with the ability to deliver expert-level presentations and guidance. • Operations Management: o Oversee day-to-day project operations, ensuring that blasting, coating, and thermal spray processes are carried out according to client requirements and company standards. o Monitor and optimize project resources, equipment, and personnel to maintain schedule adherence and control costs. • Client Communication & Relationship Management: o Maintain regular communication with clients, providing status updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. o Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs and ensuring continued business growth. • Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution: o Proactively identify project challenges or potential risks, implementing effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption to project schedules and costs. o Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, challenges, and resolutions. • Post-Project Review & Reporting: o Oversee project closeout procedures, ensuring all deliverables are met and client expectations are exceeded. o Prepare post-project reports, including performance analysis, budget reconciliation, and areas for future improvement. Qualifications: o Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in Abrasive Blasting, Protective Coatings, and Thermal Spray Applications, within the Marine, Oil & Gas, or Industrial Sectors. o Strong knowledge of coating technologies, Abrasive Blasting techniques, Thermal Spray processes, fireproofing, plural component application, and related areas. o Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience). o PMP, NACE, or similar certifications are a plus. Experience using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.) to track project progress and resources. o Proven track record and Strong leadership skills in managing teams and ensuring operational efficiency in high-stakes projects.
