Main Responsibilities:

Document Management and Control:

  • Manage and control all flight operations documents, whether internal or external.
  • Liaise with relevant organizations such as manufacturers and suppliers to secure necessary flight operations documents and support.
  • Produce and maintain a master listing of all flight operations documents and ensure availability to relevant parties.
  • Ensure the proper placement of flight operations documents onboard aircraft and distribution to relevant departments, stations, and users.
  • Conduct periodic surveillance of flight operations documents to ensure they are current and accurate.
  • Ensure all controlled flight operations documents are up-to-date and complete.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Assist the EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) administrator in executing EFB-related tasks.
  • Keep and maintain flight operations documents with accurate revision status. Ensure documents are appropriately identified as "MASTER," "CONTROLLED COPY," or "SUPERSEDED."

Document Storage and Filing:

  • Implement and maintain an efficient and effective filing system for documents to ensure easy retrieval and secure storage.
  • Ensure backup copies (both hard and soft) of flight operations documents are available and kept in a safe, secure location.

Procurement and Training:

  • Oversee the procurement and sourcing of printing support for manuals and documents.
  • Continuously improve competency by ensuring relevant skills are acquired and informing the superior of any required training.

Compliance and Audit:

  • Undertake necessary corrective and preventive actions resulting from compliance monitoring and audit program findings.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by the Director of Flight Operations (DFO) or the Chief Pilot Training and Development (CPTD).

Education Requirements:

  • Diploma in the aviation field is highly recommended.

Experience Requirements:

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates with aviation backgrounds will be given added preference.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Familiarity with flight operations documentation systems and EFB systems is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and document control procedures.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
