Position Title : Finance Controller

Location : Pasir Gudang

Employment Type : Full-time

Our client, an establish trading company is looking for a qualified and experienced hands-on Finance Controller to oversee their financial operations, ensuring compliance and enhancing performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management and Reporting

  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Generate detailed financial reports for management review and decision-making.

2. Consolidation of Accounts

  • Perform consolidation of accounts for multiple entities within the organization.
  • Ensure accuracy in inter-company transactions and eliminate any discrepancies.

3. Compliance and Audit

  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation for external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.

4. Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Participate in the budgeting process by analyzing historical data and providing forecasts.

5. Team Leadership

  • Supervising finance staff and collaborating with other departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Proven experience in consolidating financial statements for multiple entities.
  • Familiar with US GAAP is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Autocount, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
