Job Summary

The Retail Pharmacy Operations Executive plays a crucial role in supporting the operational excellence and business growth of our pharmacy chain. Reporting to the General Manager of Retail Operations, the executive ensures smooth day-to-day operations, compliance with healthcare regulations, and exceptional customer service across our outlets. This position involves close collaboration with store managers, supply chain teams, and other stakeholders to achieve operational goals and enhance overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Support:

  • Monitor and support daily operations at pharmacy outlets to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Conduct routine visits to outlets to evaluate compliance, operational efficiency, and customer service quality.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of standardized operating procedures.
  • Ensure outlets meet regulatory and safety standards, including health and hygiene compliance.

2. Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination:

  • Collaborate with inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels at all outlets.
  • Monitor stock discrepancies and work with relevant teams to address and resolve issues.
  • Assist in ensuring timely replenishment of inventory based on sales trends and customer demand.
  • Ensure effective implementation of inventory management tools and systems.

3. Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Analyze outlet performance metrics, including sales, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare detailed operational reports for the General Manager and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for performance improvement and cost optimization.

4. Customer Experience Enhancement:

  • Ensure that all pharmacy outlets maintain a professional and customer-friendly environment.
  • Support the execution of initiatives to improve customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Handle escalated customer service issues effectively, providing solutions and feedback to the team.
  • Coordinate and handle pharmacy outlets repair and maintenance to ensure excellent shopping experience.

5. Project and Initiative Support:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of new store openings, renovations, or relocations.
  • Support marketing and promotional campaigns to drive traffic and sales at outlets.
  • Coordinate training programs to ensure store staff are aligned with operational objectives and customer service standards.

6. Team Collaboration and Training:

  • Act as a liaison between the General Manager and store managers to ensure clear communication and alignment.
  • Assist in training and onboarding store staff, ensuring they understand operational processes and compliance requirements.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to store teams to enhance their performance.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in the pharmacy or healthcare sector.
  • Hands-on experience in a multi-outlet retail environment is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory management and customer service.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards (preferred but not required).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
