Job Overview:
As an Admin and Account Assistant, you will provide support in both administrative and accounting functions. You will manage office tasks, assist in bookkeeping, process invoices, handle data entry, and ensure that records are accurately maintained. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support:
- Handle general office duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing email correspondence.
- Assist with filing, organizing, and maintaining office documents and records.
- Prepare and manage reports, memos, and other business-related documents.
- Coordinate office supplies, inventory, and general office maintenance.
- Organize and assist with meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes when required.
- Accounting & Finance Support:
- Assist with data entry for accounts payable and receivable.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and on time.
- Help maintain financial records and assist in bookkeeping tasks.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and assisting the accounting team during audits.
- Recordkeeping & Documentation:
- Ensure proper documentation of financial transactions and maintain accurate filing systems.
- Assist in tracking and managing office expenses and petty cash.
- Support with payroll processing and other employee-related financial records when necessary.
- Collaboration & Team Support:
- Work closely with the accounting team and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide administrative support to other team members as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in administrative or accounting roles is a plus.
- Skills:
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and accounting software (e.g., AutoCount, QAD, or similar).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
