We’re looking for a SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER that is experienced in the creative or advertising industry who is excited to take that next step to see what’s truly possible.

What’s it like to be in this role?

  • Develop and implement impactful social media marketing plans and content pillars (strategy, audience targeting, objectives, measurement, and analytics) to create and grow brand presence across social media channels (Twitter, Meta, Youtube, Instagram, Tik Tok, blogs, and so forth).
  • Collaborate with the content and creative teams to execute social media content for brands.
  • Work with freelancers/ community managers assigned to monitor community sentiment for brands assigned.
  • Monitor and capitalise on social media, design, strategy, and meme trends.
  • Identify potential negative or crisis situations and apply conflict resolution to mitigate issues.
  • Manage social pages (scheduling content calendar and managing comments) and utilising social management tools (Sprout Social).
  • Prepare monthly social media reports for brands assigned and analyse the said data and make strategic recommendations

What does it take?

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a digital agency or social media role.
  • Effective team management capabilities.
  • A keen attention to details, budgeting and timescales.
  • An ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them
  • Confidence in building a rapport with clients and nurturing good working relationship.
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior time management and detailed-oriented.
  • Excellent spoken and written (Malay language is a bonus)
  • Social media copywriting skills are a bonus.
