The Training Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales of training programs and services within a designated territory. They will identify and develop new business opportunities, build strong relationships with potential and existing clients, and effectively communicate the value of training programs to meet their specific needs.
Responsibilities
- Sales Prospecting: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and generate leads through various channels (e.g., cold calling, networking, social media).
- Client Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and training needs.
- Needs Assessment: Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and recommend appropriate solutions, tailoring proposals to meet client requirements.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver persuasive presentations to showcase the benefits of training programs and services, addressing client concerns and objections.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Sales Reporting: Track sales activities, prepare sales reports, and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with training experts and other team members to develop and deliver effective training programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the training or education industry
- Strong understanding of the training industry and market trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
