1. Compliance Monitoring- Oversee and ensure compliance with MOHE and MQA standards, including:
- Student Assessments: Regularly review assessment methods and grading practices to ensure alignment with accreditation standards.
- Admissions Processes: Monitor student admission criteria and procedures to comply with approved program standards.
- Academic Staff Qualifications: Verify qualifications and credentials of academic staff to meet regulatory requirements.
- Library and Educational Resources: Ensure library collections and other educational materials meet the needs of current programs and accreditation standards.
- Student Support Services: Evaluate the adequacy and quality of student services to ensure they align with regulatory expectations.
- Conduct periodic internal audits to identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
2. Documentation and Reporting- Maintain an up-to-date repository of compliance-related documentation, including:
- Accreditation files for all academic programs.
- Records of faculty qualifications and professional development.
- Student admission, assessment, and graduation data.
- Prepare, complete, and submit Tables III, IV, and V for ministry requirements in a timely manner.
- Develop and compile comprehensive reports for ministry reviews, audits, and inspections.
3. Program and Syllabus Updates- Collaborate with program leaders and faculty to review and update program syllabi, ensuring alignment with:
- MQA program standards.
- Industry benchmarks and evolving educational needs.
- Monitor the approval process for curriculum revisions and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities.
4. Ministry Communication- Act as the primary liaison with the Ministry of Higher Education and MQA for all compliance-related matters.
- Receive and respond to ministry updates, inquiries, and directives promptly.
- Disseminate regulatory changes and compliance requirements to faculty, staff, and other stakeholders.
5. Resource Evaluation- Conduct regular evaluations of the college’s library and educational resources to:
- Ensure sufficient availability of textbooks, journals, and digital resources.
- Align resources with program requirements and accreditation standards.
- Coordinate with library staff to procure additional resources as necessary.
6. Issue Resolution- Manage the resolution of student complaints, ensuring they are handled promptly, fairly, and in compliance with institutional policies.
- Maintain detailed records of complaints and their resolutions for quality assurance and compliance purposes.
- Analyze complaint trends and recommend improvements to enhance student satisfaction and reduce recurring issues.
7. Training and Awareness- Organize training sessions and workshops for faculty and staff on compliance requirements, accreditation standards, and documentation practices.
- Foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement across the institution.
8. Continuous Improvement- Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and best practices in higher education compliance.
- Conduct regular reviews of compliance processes and recommend enhancements to ensure ongoing adherence to standards.
Education- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field, with a minimum CGPA of 3.3 or above. A Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
Experience- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in higher education institutions.
- Demonstrated experience in compliance, quality assurance, or accreditation processes in the education sector.
