QA ENGINEER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Establish and prepare necessary critical control points for all products in production 2. Establish quality assurance documentation such as process flow, first article inspection report, process check sheet etc. 3. Handling of customer complaint 4. Monitor and inspect workplaces as well as equipment and take appropriate action to ensure in compliance with OSHA, FMA and Environmental Act 5. Manage and issuing Personal Protective Equipment to workers, contractors and visitors 6. Regular checking and maintaining fire alarm systems and firefighting equipment 7. Conduct Hazard Identification Risk Assessment Risk Control (HIRARC) and Environmental Aspect Impact Assessment (EAIA) on work process and environmental as and when required 8. Prepare and review safety plans, emergency evacuation plan and first aid procedures 9. Liaise with local authorities such as DOSH, DOE, BOMBA and etc 10. Investigates all workplace accidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions 11. Lead the safety and health committee 12. Responsible on schedule waste storage and disposal 13. Promote the OSH and EHS awareness by conducting internal audit, awareness training and induction program to all workers and staffs 14. Perform any other safety & health duties and DOE related matter that may be assigned from time to time by the superior. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1. Candidate must possess a recognized Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years working experience. 2. Knowledge in Occupational Safety and Health related regulations, legalization and practices is an added advantages. 3. Safety Officer with Green Book holder will be an added advantages. 4. Having experience in sheet metal/fabrication is an added advantages. 5. At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the Manufacturing field. 6. Good interpersonal and communication skills. 7. Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
