Key Responsibilities: 1. Process Development and Optimization: o Develop and implement manufacturing processes for new product introductions (NPI). o Optimize existing processes to enhance productivity, yield, and cost-efficiency. 2. Compliance and Standards: o Ensure all processes and activities comply with regulatory and safety standards. o Stay updated with advancements in EMS technology and industry best practices. 8. Project Management: o Lead or participate in cross-functional engineering projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met. o Support the transition of products from prototyping to full-scale manufacturing. 9. Training and Mentorship: o Train and mentor junior engineers or technicians to build technical competencies. o Promote a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaboration within the engineering team. Key Requirements: 1. Education and Experience: o Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering). o Minimum of 5 years of experience in an EMS or high-tech manufacturing environment. o Proven track record in managing engineering projects within the EMS industry. 2. Skills and Competencies: o Proficiency in process improvement tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. o Knowledge of SMT (Surface Mount Technology), PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly, and testing processes. o Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools. o Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 3. Certifications (Preferred): o Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certification. o IPC-A-610 certification for acceptability of electronic assemblies. 4. Other Requirements: o Willingness to travel for project support, training, or client interactions as required. o Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment. o Flexibility to adapt to changing project priorities and deadlines. o Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability in all engineering tasks. o Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
