Chemical application specialists develop chemical products according to the needs and expectation of the clients, conduct development of formulas and processes of formulation as well as evaluation of the efficiency and performances of the formulations. Also keep abreast of international innovations in ceramic field by constant updating from the latest ceramic publications and bulletins from ceramic societies. MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : 1. To come out with new materials and process upgrading to improve the overall yield of the goods and enhance the material, energy and labour productivity. 2. To formulate new body composition for new products based on the demand of customers for product diversification. 3. Establish control parameters for all materials and processes and maintain within the limits. 4. Maintain color consistency of whiteware glazes and decorations and after establishing control limits using CIELAB colorimetry. 5. Increase factory yield by continuous improvement of material composition and process control. 6. To control all routine testing of the physical and chemical properties of incoming raw materials. 7. To test the final product to ensure it complies with regulations and meets customer requirements. 8. To purchase and maintain stock of all raw materials namely body constituents glaze and pigments. 9. New body slip formulation and making adjustment for current production slip to improve the quality of product.
