Summary of Job:

The Social Media and Content Specialist is tasked with creating and managing content across all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, to build an engaged audience and achieve brand objectives. This role involves researching current trends and audience preferences, and also part of the content marketing growth taskforce to set up and manage social media storefronts as new revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities::

Social Media Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop, implement, track, test, and learn marketing strategies to explore new business opportunities.
  • Create and implement social media strategies to align with revenue goals.
  • Develop a monthly social media editorial calendar with specific objectives and KPIs

Social Media Content Creation:

  • Work closely with videographers, copywriters, and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
  • Collaborate with social media influencers, KOLs, and affiliates to drive campaign awareness and revenue growth.

Setup and Management:

  • Collaborate with the cross-functional growth team to ensure proper setup and configuration of social media stores.
  • Create accurate product listings, descriptions, and pricing.

Growth and Performance:

  • Implement strategies to drive traffic, increase conversions, and maximize sales across platforms like TikTok, Etsy, and Instagram.
  • Monitor and analyze store performance metrics, providing regular reports with actionable insights.
  • Ensure compliance with platform policies and stay competitive by monitoring market trends.
  • Collaborate with the growth team to ideate and execute marketing experiments, and conduct market research to identify emerging trends and revenue streams.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience managing social media platforms, ideally within the lifestyle industries. Fresh graduates with strong interest in social media platforms can also apply.
  • Strong connections with social media influencers and KOLs.
  • A creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, bringing fresh, innovative ideas for captivating social media content.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to seamlessly plan and execute impactful social media campaigns.
  • A true team player with outstanding multitasking abilities, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
