As a ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER your primary job functions shall be to manage and execute all the projects of the company. Your responsibilities are to ensure that projects under your execution will be implemented within the budget and construction period as well as manage any project staff assigned to you. Your project management and site supervision duties are as follows:- Project Management Duties The project management duties shall include but not limited to; (a) Propose system design and prepare design/construction shop drawings as well as seek approval from the consultant/client. (b) Seek material/equipment competitive quotations and scrutinize the quoted material/equipment to meet project specification. (c) Prepare material/equipment submission to the consultant/client and ensure timely approval from the consultant. (d) Prepare material/equipment delivery schedule and ensure that the correct quantities of material/equipment are delivered to job site on a timely basis. (e) Prepare work programme and monitor the work progress to ensure timely completion. (f) Propose and submit monthly progress payment, report and variation work claims and seek timely approval from the consultant and client. (g) Attend all project and site coordination meetings that require attendance of senior project staff. (h) Supervise the activities and work ethic of the project staffs assigned to you. (i) Prepare all the handing over documentation and attend to the handing over meeting. (j) Propose service and maintenance program/schedule for the defects liability period and ensure that these activities are properly documented. k) Prepare the Project Quality Plan in compliance to the company ISO 9001-2000 procedure.
