Security Specialist

Position: Security Specialist Experience: 5+ years, with 2+ years in Security Engineering & customer-facing roles Shifts: Flexible hours, on-call support as required Role Overview: The Security Specialist will design, implement, and support Microsoft security solutions like M365 Security, Defender for Cloud, Purview, Entra ID, and more. The role requires monitoring security systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring service delivery meets industry standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities: Design & deploy Microsoft M365 Security & Compliance solutions. Implement and support solutions such as MS Purview, Entra ID, Defender for Cloud, etc. Troubleshoot and resolve security alerts, incidents, and problems. Develop technical documentation and assist SMEs during problem resolution. Provide ongoing support for security services and meet SLAs. Key Requirements: Experience in M365 Security, Defender for Endpoint, Azure Cloud, and Purview. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Security Operations, ISO 27001, and ITIL processes. Technical Certifications (SC-100, SC-400, SC-200, AZ-900). Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts for customers. Bonus Skills: Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud management (Azure Arc). Experience with Microsoft eco-system migrations. Performance Criteria: Meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Maintain up-to-date documentation. Positive feedback from customers.
